Discover the homelands of Owain Glyndŵr

Corwen is at the heart of Owain Glyndŵr country, and retains strong links to the hero of Welsh nationalism. Look out for the magnificent church of St Mael and St Sulien, with its atmospheric graveyard. Several great walks also start in the centre, up into the woods overlooking the town, and to Caer Drewyn, one of the best preserved Iron Age hillforts in Wales.

Corwen is on the A5, 12 miles from Llangollen.
